Molly has shined out among others during her first year at the X. She hosts multiple shows, including The Lunch Box and is always helping out around the station. Molly listens to many different music genres and explores them on her Tuesday night show.

Paul is one of The X's most dedicated members. His show The Pre-Game features a variety of guests, and has an even wider range of music rotating. As he says "I've always liked to have a girl in the studio."

WMCX's began broadcasting on May 2, 1974 . Instead of the 88.9FM we've all saved in our dials, our birth started on 88.1FM. The X made the move to 88.9FM of September 1987, while also increasing the wattage from 10 watts to 1,000 watts. Currently The X has a broadcast radius of approximately 15 miles reaching most of Monmouth and Ocean County. The station has more than 500,000 listeners both domestically and internationally thanks to our fantastic online audience.
